Europcar Oman hosted its 10th Edition of the Europcar Open on Friday, the 6th December 2024 at the Al Mouj Golf and received an overwhelming response.
Over 150 players participated in the event and there was a huge waiting list to get in. The Gala Evening Dinner & Prize Distribution was a full house. The format was Individual Stableford & the Inter-Club Championship between 6 Golf Clubs (Al Mouj Golf, Ras Al Hamra, Ghala Valley, La Vie, Sifah & Dubai Hills) vying for the title.
Division A Men’s Gross Winner was Navaid Ahmed with 74 points, Division A Men’s Stableford Winner was Hussain Dad with 37 points & Women’s Stableford Winner was Jameela Daud with 36 points.
The Inter-Club championship winner was Ras Al Hamra represented by Salim Al Harthy, Tommy Monks, Shane Carroll & Hisham Al Siyabi with a collective of 98 points.
The event was graced by a number of high profile guests including His Excellency’s Malaysian Ambassador and South African Ambassador to Egypt, Charge d’Affaires of the Singapore Embassy & Deputy Chief of Mission of US Embassy.
