Royal Decree ratifies agreement between Oman, World Bank Group

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today issued Royal decree No. (102/2025) on the ratification of an agreement to establish an Office for the World Bank Group in the Sultanate of Oman.

The agreement, signed in Washington D.C on 14 October 2025, is between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the following World Bank Group institutions: The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the International Development Association, the International Finance Corporation, and the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency.

Article (1) ratifies the aforementioned agreement in accordance with the version attached to this decree.

Article (2) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.
