Muscat: There are chances of low level clouds or fog over some governorates in the Sultanate , Oman Meteorology said in its forecast on Wednesday.
"Mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with chance of late night to early morning low level clouds or fog over parts of South Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates and coastal areas of Oman Sea. Warning issued for fog,” the forecast said.
The expected maximum and minimum temperature will be 38 degrees Celsius and 24 degrees in Muscat Governorate, 39 degrees and 24 degrees in the wilayat of Sohar and 39 degrees and 18 degrees in the wilayat of Ibri, 40 degrees and 23 degrees in the wilayat of Nizwa and 40 degrees and 25 degrees in the wilayat of Rustaq.
"The aerial image shows the spread of low clouds and fog over parts of the governorates of South Sharqiyah, Al Wusta, Buraimi and Al Dhahirah."
According to Oman News Agency (ONA), the highest temperature expected today is 41 degrees in the wilayats of Adam, Al Mudhaibi and Mahout and the lowest is 15 degrees in Jabal Shams.
