12 persons in Oman face action for Covid-19 violations

Muscat: Jail terms, fines and deportation sentences have been handed down to 12 persons for violating the decisions of the Supreme Committee.

A statement issued online by Public Prosecution said: "Primary courts in three governorates convicted violators of the Supreme Committee’s decisions including for violating home and institutional quarantine and for gathering and removing tracking bracelets. The courts sentenced them to imprisonment, fines and deportation."
