Muscat: There are chances of scattered rain over Dhofar governorate and the adjoining mountains, Oman Meteorology said on Sunday.
The Oman Meteorology said in a statement: "Clear to partly cloudy skies along the coastal area of Dhofar Governorate and adjoining mountains with a chance of isolated rain. Mainly clear skies over the rest of the Sultanate with cloud formation over parts of Al Hajar Mountains predicted. Dust storms over deserts and open areas of Dhofar and Al Wusta may be expected, including late night to early morning low level clouds over parts of the coastal areas of Arabian Sea."
The expected maximum and minimum temperatures will be 39 degree Celsius and 33 degrees respectively in Muscat, 40 degrees and 31 degrees in Sohar, 45 degrees and 24 degrees in Haima, 43 degrees and 28 degrees in Nizwa, 44 degrees and 30 degrees in Ibri, and 42 degrees and 23 degrees in Thamrait.
