15 people arrested in Oman for violating labour and residence laws

Muscat: Coast Guard Police boats seized an Asian boat for attempting to smuggle 15 violators of the labour and residence laws outside Oman.

The Royal Oman Police said in a statement: "Coast Guard Police boats seized a boat off the shore of the Wilayat of Shinas. The boat’s crew, consisting of three expatriates, attempted to smuggle 15 violators of the labour and residence laws out of Oman. Legal procedures are being completed against them."
