Thunderstorms witnessed over some parts of Oman

Muscat: Parts of the Hajar Mountains witnessed thunderstorms of varying intensity, with hailstones falling, Oman Meteorology said on Friday.

Oman Meteorology had previously warned about the possibility of storms over the Al Hajar Mountains and surrounding areas on Friday accompanied by active downward winds (very fast during the time of the impact of the thunderstorm), chances of hail and flow of Wadi in mountain areas.
