University of Nizwa to start training programme for students
Students of Pharmacy and Nursing College will be trained at the University headquarters

Muscat: The Ministry of Health and the University of Nizwa signed an agreement to train students. 

A statement issued online by the Ministry of Health (MOH) said that the Ministry, represented by the Directorate General of Human Development (DGHD), signed an agreement on Monday with the University of Nizwa to train the students of Pharmacy and Nursing College at the University headquarters.

The agreement was signed by Dr Ahmed Al-Abri, DGHD Director-General, on behalf of the Ministry, and Dr Salim bin Said Al-Tobi, Dean of Pharmacy and Nursing College, on behalf of the University.

The agreement stipulated using the health facilities of the Ministry of Health to train the students of Pharmacy and Nursing College of the University of Nizwa.

As part of the facilitations provided by the MOH for the private higher education institutions, this agreement is the second one this year and the fourth one overall and it aims to help students acquire the scientific and applied knowledge in their specialisations.
