COVID-19: 80% of target population in Oman has received at least one jab

Muscat: Around 80 per cent of the total target population has been vaccinated with one dose of COVID-19 vaccine in Oman.

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA) said: "The total number of people vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccines in the Sultanate since the beginning of the national campaign for immunisation against COVID-19 until September 19, 2021, with at least one dose reached 2,810,262, representing 80 per cent of the total targets."

"The total number of people vaccinated with two doses reached 1,826,224, at a rate of 52 per cent, and the total doses given reached 4,636,486," added ONA.
