DBBS urges people to donate blood

Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS) has appealed to  people to donate blood  at blood banks.

"Due to recent climatic conditions in the Sultanate, a number of blood donation campaigns had o be canceled. We urge everyone to take the initiative to donate blood at blood banks," DBBS said in a statement.

DBBS added that blood donation can be done from Saturday to Thursday between 8 am and 8 pm and on Friday from 3 pm to 8 pm.
