Oman lifts ban on import of birds from Iran

Muscat: The ban on importing live birds and their products from the Republic of Iran has been lifted, the Ministry of Agricultural, Fisheries and Water Resources said.

"A ministerial decision has been taken to lift the ban on importing live birds and their products, derivatives and offal from the Islamic Republic of Iran. This decision is based on a recommendation from the competent veterinary authority," the Ministry said in a statement.
