Cricket World Cup: PCR test prices slashed by half

Muscat: The price of PCR tests has been slashed by half for cricket fans arriving for the T20 Men's Cricket World Cup in Abu Dhabi, the Emirates News Agency, WAM, said.

The Abu Dhabi Sports Council and Abu Dhabi Cricket Club announced that, within the framework of the partnership agreement signed between the Council and the "VPS" Healthcare Group, they will conduct PCR nasal swab tests at a nominal price for the 2021 T20 Men's Cricket World Cup for fans to attend the tournament matches that will be held at Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

"Thanks to the partnership between the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and Burjeel Hospitals-VPS, thousands of cricket fans will have the opportunity to attend the tournament matches and get a 50 per cent discount on the required Covid-19 tests before coming to the stands starting today, October 21, 2021," an official was quoted as saying.
