COVID-19: Saudi Arabia reports first Omicron case

Muscat: The first case of Omicron infection has been detected in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

Saudi Press Agency (SPA), said in a statement that a case of infection with the mutated “Omicron” strain has been detected in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a citizen coming from a North African country. An epidemiological investigation was conducted, the infected person and his contacts were isolated, and the approved health procedures were completed.
