Wilayat of Nakhl, Baushar in Muscat record highest rainfall

Muscat: The Wilayat of Nakhl has recorded the highest amount of rainfall in the Sultanate of Oman for two days,  February 13 and February 14, 2022, which was 55 mm.

According to the data showed by the Ministry of Agricultural, Fisheries and Water Resources (MAFWR), the amount of rainfall recorded in a number of the Sultanate’s wilayats on February 13 and February 14, 2022 were as follows: 55 mm in the Wilayat of Nakhl in South Al Batinah Governorate, followed by the Wilayat of Baushar in Muscat Governorate with 45 mm and the Wilayat of Seeb in Muscat Governorate with 22 mm.

The Wilayat of Barka in South Al Batinah Governorate has recorded 21 mm, 9 mm in the Wilayat of Musannah in South Al Batinah Governorate 8 mm in each wilayats of Muttrah in Muscat Governorate, Suwaiq in North Al Batinah Governorate and Al Awabi in South Al Batinah Governorate.
