Tanzanian President receives Oman's Grand Mufti

Muscat: President Samia Suluhu Hassan of the United Republic of Tanzania received at her residence place in Al Alam Palace here today His Eminence Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalili, the Grand Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman.

The Tanzanian President and the Grand Mufti of Oman exchanged cordial talks and reviewed matters of common interest.

The meeting was attended by Saud Hilal Al Shidhani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Republic of Tanzania. It was also attended from the Tanzanian side by Dr. Pindi Chana, Minister of Natural Resources and Tourism, Dr. Khalid Salum Mohamed, Minister of Works, Transport and Communications and Ambassador Mbarouk Nassoro Mbarouk, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation.
