Ship crew member airlifted to hospital in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Air Force of Oman carried out a medical evacuation at sea for a crew member of a transiting commercial ship, and he was transferred to Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah.

The Ministry of Defence said: "Today, one of the helicopters of the Royal Air Force of Oman carried out a medical evacuation at sea for a crew member of a transiting commercial ship, as the helicopter transported the patient, who was in a critical condition, from the ship to Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah in Dhofar Governorate to receive necessary specialised treatment.”
