Child drowns in Wadi Bahla

Muscat: A four-year-old girl drowned in the Bahla Valley stream on Tuesday and her body was found by a citizen in a pool of water in Wadi Bahla.

The Royal Oman Police, (ROP), said: “The 4-year-old girl was accompanied by her parents in the Bahla Valley Stream but she went missing. Her body was found later by a citizen in the water pool in the valley.”

"The ROP calls on all citizens and residents to monitor their children and to not leave them alone in the valleys."
