Muscat: Most governorates of the Sultanate of Oman will witness a relative drop in temperatures on Sunday and Monday due to the northwest winds.
"Opportunities for the formation and flow of clouds and precipitation continue in parts of the Musandam Governorate and the coasts of the Sea of Oman in particular (Muscat, South Al Sharqiyah and South Al Batinah) and on parts of the Hajar Mountains on Sunday and Monday," Oman Meteorology said in a statement.
" The activity of the active northwest winds today and tomorrow will lead to :
1- The rise of dust in the desert and open areas, and a decrease in the level of horizontal vision during the rise of dust.
2- A relative drop in temperatures in most of the Sultanate’s governorates
3 - The height of the sea waves (average/ rough) to reach (3,2) meters on the coasts of Musandam Governorate, the Arabian Sea and the coasts of the Sea of Oman, " meteorology added .
