Muscat: Jabal Shams in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate has recorded the lowest temperature in the Sultanate of Oman on Monday which was 0.3 degrees Celsius.
"Jabal Shams station recorded 0.3 degrees Celsius as the lowest temperature among all the weather stations during the last 24 hours, followed by Saiq station in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate with 6.6 degrees Celsius and then Maqshan station in Dhofar Governorate with 11.8 degrees Celsius," Oman Meteorology said.
According to the Oman Meteorology the weather will be partly cloudy skies along the coastal areas of Arabian Sea with chances of isolated rain and clear to partly cloudy skies along the coastal areas of Oman Sea , adjoining areas and Musandam with chances of isolated rain. It is expected that clear skies over rest of the governorates with chances of late night to early morning low level clouds over parts of Al Buraimi and Al Dhahirah Governorates.
It is possible that light to moderate north-northwesterly winds will blow over most of the governorates, and it will be northeasterly to eastern, light to moderate, sometimes active on the coasts of the Sea of Oman, while light to moderate north-northeasterly winds will blow, sometimes active on the coasts of the Arabian Sea.
