Oman's PAEW completes water projects in record time

Muscat: Public Authority for Electricity and Water (PAEW) successfully completed a number of water network projects in the wilayats of Muscat Governorate.
The work for such projects was undertaken during the Eid-Al-Fitr holidays. Though the scheduled time to complete the projects was 48 hours, they were completed within 24 hours.
The PAEW completed the laying of 1,600 mm-capacity new water line from the water pumping station in the wilayat of Al Amerat. It would increase the availability of water produced from the desalination plant.
The PAEW has also completed the maintenance works of the main water transmission networks in the Muscat Governorate which feed the wilayats of Muscat, Al Amerat, Muttrah and Al Wattaya area. The PAEW has confirmed that no shortage in water supply has occurred due to the precautionary measures it has taken during the execution of such works.
