1 dead as tourist boats catch fire in Oman

Muscat: One person died and 11 others were injured after three tourist boats caught fire in the Wilayat of Khasab, Musandam Governorate.

The Royal Oman Police (ROP), said in a statement: "The Musandam Governorate Police Command, in cooperation with the Coast Guard Department and the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in Musandam, dealt with a report of the burning of three tourist boats in the fishermen port in the Wilayat of Khasab, which resulted in the death of a European person and the injury of 11 people of different nationalities."
