Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has issued a supreme pardon for 198 of prison inmates convicted in various cases.
An official source in the Royal Oman Police (ROP) stated that 198 prisoners, including 89 expatriates will benefit from the decision.
The pardon comes from His Majesty the Supreme Commander coinciding with the occasion of Eid Al Fitr 1444 AH, and taking into account the families of these prisoners.
