HM the Sultan issues two Royal Decrees

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Wednesday issued two Royal decrees reading as follows:

Royal Decree No. (32/2023) on ratifying the air services agreement between the governments of the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Tajikistan, signed in Muscat on 15 March, 2023.

Article (1) ratifies the aforementioned agreement in accordance with the version attached to this decree.

Article (2) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its data of issue.

Royal Decree No. (33/2023) on endorsing the Sultanate of Oman’s joining the Protocol that supplements the Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Seizure of Aircraft, signed in Beijing on 10 September, 2010.

Article (1) endorses the Sultanate of Oman’s joining the Protocol that supplements the Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Seizure of Aircraft, in accordance with the version attached to this decree.

Article (2) instructs the departments concerned to deposit the official document for joining the aforementioned Protocol in accordance with its provisions.

Article (3) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.
