International smugglers arrested with over six million 'Captagon' tablets in Oman
Royal Oman Police said: “ The General Administration for Combating Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances arrests an international drug smuggling network, after monitoring operations that resulted in seizing more than 6 million tablets of Captagon."
The legal procedures are being completed against them.
Oman heating up as temperatures set to approach 50 degrees
High temperatures expected in the Sultanate of Oman for today, Thursday June 22, 2023 and the next two days, specifically at noon with a ranging from mid-forties to early fifties degrees Celsius in desert and open areas, said Oman Meteorology.
The highest temperatures recorded in the Sultanate during the past 24 hours were 47.4 degrees Celsius in Hamra Al Duru’, 46.8 in Al Sunina and 46.6 in Fahud.
