RAO Commander receives Indian Chief of Naval Staff

Muscat: Maj.Gen Mattar Salim Al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO) received in his office at Al Murtafaa Garrison today AdmiralR Hari Kumar, Chief of the Naval Staff in the Republic of India, who is currently visiting the Sultanate of Oman.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged viewpoints and discussed a set of military matters of mutual interest.

The meeting was attended by Rear Admiral Saif Nassir Al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO), senior RAO officers and the Military Attaché at the Indian Embassy in Muscat.

Indian Chief of Naval Staff visits SAF Museum

Admiral R Hari Kumar, Chief of the Naval Staff in the Republic of India visited today the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) Museum.

During the visit, the guest was briefed on the march of SAF’s development. He also toured various sections of the museum and viewed its glorious military heritage.

Indian Chief of Naval Staff Visits MSC

 Admiral R Hari Kumar, Chief of the Naval Staff in the Republic of India visited the Maritime Security Centre (MSC). He was accompanied during the visit by Rear Admiral Saif Nasser Al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO).

Upon the guest’s arrival at the centre, he was greeted by the Acting Head of the MSC.

During the visit, the guest and his accompanying delegation were briefed on the tactical roles and tasks carried out by the centre in the safety of the Omani maritime environment. They also toured the MSC’s facilities and viewed its latest equipment and technologies used in carrying out its national duties
