Muscat: Students who got 99 percent in the basic subjects of the general education diploma were honoured by Mohammed Suleiman Al-Kindi, the Governor of North Al-Batinah on Monday.
The students from different schools in North Al-Batinah were honoured in a ceremony attended by a number of honourable Walis of North Al-Batinah, public and private bodies’ officials, students’ parents and families and the educational family of the governorate.
The ceremony included various segments and started with a speech by Mohammed Suleiman Al-Kindi, the Governor of North Al-Batinah. He emphasised that this ceremony is big motivation for students to keep up their brilliant efforts and consistency for acquiring knowledge to get on the stages of excellence which require very hard work and responsibility by the students, families, and schools.
He further said that this ceremony and honours are a well-deserved outcome of the efforts and consistency shown by each hard-working citizen of this country in general and especially of North Al-Batinah.
Students will go to the next level of their journey by acquiring specialised knowledge and sciences in which they are required to keep up their hard work and persistence to achieve more excellence and distinction in different fields and to be on various national and international stages of honours.
He also emphasised the role of the Ministry of Education in providing the required care and ingredients of a perfect educational environment for students to take education quality to the next level.
During the ceremony audience witnessed a visual show about the most important advice for students after the general education diploma and the best specialised jobs of the future in North Al-Batinah Governorate.
This goes in line with the governorate’s needs in crucial sectors, especially the logistic and industrial sectors that keep up with the future projects of the Sultanate of Oman and Oman Vision 2040.
Finally, His Excellency Mohammed Suleiman Al-Kindi gave certificates and gifts to the excellent students.
