Pennsylvania: Five people were killed and several others injured in a house explosion Saturday in Plum, a suburb of Pittsburgh.
The explosion destroyed three structures and damaged at least a dozen others, authorities said.
A 38-year-old man and his 12-year-old son are among five people killed.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the explosion.
"It appeared as if one house had exploded, and two others were engulfed in fire. Multiple other homes were damaged with windows blown out," residents said.
Doorbell camera footage shows a massive explosion sending smoke and debris into the sky above the neighbourhood.
Five bodies were later recovered from the scene.
