Oman, ICRC review areas of cooperation

Muscat: Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs met here today with Mamadou Sow, Head of the regional mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) for the GCC countries.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed areas of cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the ICRC. They also discussed matters related with assistance provided to Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip within the context of the Israeli war waged on the strip.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Humaid Ali Al Maani, Head of the International Affairs Department at the Foreign Ministry, Abdullah Mohammed Said, Head of the ICRC mission in Oman and Dr. Abdullah Hamad Al Badi, Advisor for Humanitarian Affairs at the ICRC mission.
