Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has condemned the bombing that targeted the Iranian consulate in Damascus in the Syrian Arab Republic.
Oman News Agency (ONA) reported that the Sultanate expressed its condemnation and denunciation of the bombing that targeted the Iranian consulate in Damascus, considering it a violation of the sovereignty of Syria and all international diplomatic laws and immunities, and called for the protection and preservation of diplomatic and consular missions.
In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, Oman stressed the need to stop the escalation in the region and reject aggression and other actions that threaten security and stability of the people. It also expressed its condolences to the families of the victims and wished for a speedy recovery for the injured.
