People urged to donate blood in Oman

Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS) has urged people with O(-ve) and B(-ve), to donate blood at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar due to the significant decrease in the blood levels.

DBBS said in a statement :"The Department Blood Banks Services would like to point out that the Central Blood Bank in Baushar is experiencing a significant decrease in the levels of blood groups O- and B-, so we urge public to donate blood as soon as possible."

"The donation hours at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar are from Saturday to Thursday, 8 am to 8 pm and on Friday from 8 am to 2 pm. For inquiries or to book an appointment to donate, please contact WhatsApp at 94555648," DBBS added.
