Are you a multi-tasking mom forever balancing your household chores, attending to children’s never ending needs and demands and most likely even going to work? If you are one of them then for sure you have not been able to fit in any exercise plans in you 24x7 busy schedules. Being a mother has never been easy but if you make an effort and re-organise your life then for sure you can find some time to exercise which will not only make you super fit but also boost your energy level. Here’s how you can make it happen:
1 Stick to your schedule
Like every other thing that you maintain in your daily life, it is important that you stick to your daily schedules. So if you have allocated 20 minutes in a day for your workout then never compromise on that. Schedule your workout time and try to maintain that.
2 Choose interesting workouts
Most of the people choose exercises that are monotonous and hence they quit after few days because of boredom. After every few days try to introduce something new in your exercise plans and don’t repeat the same workout over and over again. It’s also a more effective way to workout.
3 Make it exciting
If you exercise to music or do some dance steps you would realise that you are working out in a much better way. Listening to one’s favourite music sets the mood.
4 Workout with someone
Be it your children or a friend, if you have a partner to give you company while you are working out it is very motivating. If you don’t have anyone then join an online fitness group and share your thoughts and apprehension. That way you stay connected and you get inspiration too.
5 Sleep well
A good night’s sleep for a busy mother is easier said than done, but if you’re looking to stay fit you must have 7-8 hours of undisturbed sleep before you hit the gym or do exercises at home.
6 Remember the driving force
To achieve something we all need motivation. From the simple desire to look stunning for a party, to fit into old jeans, or to stay healthy find a reason that will help you reach your goal.
7 Positive influence on children
If you are a fit mother you will set positive example for your kids. In fact you can also encourage them to get active thus making it easier for you to fit exercise in your day.
8 Be optimistic
When exercising set goals for yourself and keep all the negativity at bay. You might be having some friends who would discourage you from working out but don’t ever fall for their words and sabotage your exercise plans. Always tell yourself that you are doing it fine and your efforts will give the results.
