Muscat: The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, in collaboration with Snow Oman Foundation, is set to offer an exhilarating experience for adventure enthusiasts with the inaugural "Ice Warrior Challenge" on Saturday, 26 October.
This unique event invites participants to tackle a challenging obstacle course on snow at Snow Oman, located in the Mall of Oman, Muscat Governorate. The course features more than 15 exciting obstacles, including a net crawl, falling snow, snow shovels, rubber tires, giant snowballs, snow bars, and sports weights, among others.
The Ministry’s sponsorship of the event is part of its efforts to organise distinctive events aimed at a wide range of participants.
The competition is open to both males and females between the ages of 15 and 60, with three participation categories. The elite category is designed for professionals capable of completing two rounds in under 15 minutes. The individual category caters to participants of various fitness levels, while the team category allows groups of five to compete together. Participants who complete the challenge will receive souvenirs, and the top three finishers in each category will be awarded special prizes.
