Times of Oman ‘Business Leadership Summit’ Attracts Top Corporate Leaders

MuscatOrganised by Muscat Media Group and Gulf Leaders Circle, the second edition of Times of Oman ‘Business Leadership Summit’ will bring together over 150 top-level executives, senior government officials, business leaders, and industry experts to engage in in-depth discussions on business leadership and excellence, and celebrate their unique achievements at the St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort on the 30th of October.

His Excellency Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Oman's Minister of Commerce, Industry & Investment Promotion, will be the chief guest and Mr. Mohammed Bin Mahfoodh Alardhi, Executive Chairman of Investcorp and Chairman of the Board of Muscat Stock Exchange will be the keynote speaker at the event. The Summit is supported by Oman Energy Association (OPAL), Oman American Business Council and Oman Banks Association. Al Mouj Muscat is the strategic partner for the event.

The theme of the Summit, ‘Redefining Leadership for Business Excellence’, aims to provide a powerful platform for thought-provoking discussions, offering valuable insights into the leadership strategies shaping the future of business in Oman and beyond.

 

On the event, Ahmed Essa Al Zedjali, CEO of Muscat Media Group, stated, “We are proud to present this annual summit that not only highlights business leadership excellence but also encourages collaboration between key stakeholders to foster sustainable business practices. The Summit will host two panel discussions. The first panel discission will be on the topic: ‘From Disruption to Opportunity: Innovating for Sustainable Business Growth’. The panelists in this discussion includes Ali Hassan Moosa, Advisor - Estidamah, Ministry of Finance and Member-Finance and Insurance Committee, Oman Chamber of Commerce & Industry; Hussain Abdulatif Al Balushi, Group CFO, Nama Water Services; Badar Al Shanfari, Chief Investment Officer (Private Equity), Ominvest; Eng. Aladdin Baitfadhil, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), Omantel; Eng. Maqbool Al Wahaibi, CEO, Oman Data Park; Miron Kibria, CFO Oman, Liva Insurance; and Khalid Ansari, Founder & CEO, KMA & Partners. The panel will be moderated by Natalie Lindo, Senior Presenter – Middle East, Euro News.

The second panel discussion will be on the topic: “Oman's Path Ahead - New Opportunities for Growth”. Panelists for this discussion includes Aisha Al Kharusi, Deputy Executive Chairperson, Modern College of Business & Science; Abdullah Al-Jabri, Deputy CEO, Al Tasnim Group; Shabib Al Maamari, CEO, Visit Oman; Abdullah Al Shaksy, Cofounder & CEO, Phaze Ventures; Dr. Fatin Al Zadjali, Head – Learning and Development, Bank Dhofar; and Othman Al Mandhari, Founder & CEO, InnoTech. The panel will be moderated by Murtadha Al Lawati, AGM - Marketing & Communications, Oman Housing Bank and Noted TV/Radio Presenter.

 

In addition, the Times of Oman Business Leadership Awards will honour the exceptional individuals and organizations who have demonstrated visionary leadership and achieved excellence across Oman’s business landscape.
