Kuwait’s Crown Prince receives Sayyid Badr

Kuwait: Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al Hamad Al Mubarak Al Sabah, Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait received at Bayan Palace today Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister who is on an official visit to Kuwait.

The Foreign Minister conveyed greetings and best wishes of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait. He also conveyed His Majesty’s wishes of continuous growth and prosperity for the Kuwaiti people, and the relations between the two countries further progress.

On his turn, the Kuwait’s Crown Prince conveyed greetings and best wishes of the Emir of Kuwait to His Majesty the Sultan. He also conveyed the Emir’s best wishes to Omani people, and the relations between the two countries further progress and growth.

The meeting discussed relations of the bilateral cooperation between the two countries and explored means of enhancing them to serve the joint interests. It also affirmed continuously expanding prospects of cooperation in a manner that meets aspirations of the two countries’ peoples.

The two sides exchanged points of view on several regional and international issues of common concern. They underlined sharing identical visions towards the necessity of enhancing the regional and international cooperation to consolidate pillars of security and peace in the region. They also underscored the importance of Arab solidarity towards issues of the region, the foremost of which is the Palestinian cause.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Ahmed Hashil Al Maskari, Head of the GCC and Regional Neighbourliness Department, Dr. Saleh Amer Al Kharousi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Kuwait and officials from both sides.
