Medical conference explores advancements in care for premature babies

Muscat: A conference on “Advancements in providing care for premature babies” kicked off here today.

The two-day conference includes 19 scientific papers and three discussion panels. It is participated by physicians, nurses, students and those who are interested in various related medical specializations.

Moreover, the conference covers a set of topics related to intensive care and specialized care offered for premature babies during their stay period in the hospital, as well as for the period after discharge.

The conference aims to enhance awareness to issues related to preterm babies and the importance of extending comprehensive care to them.
