Al Nu’amani meets Japan, China envoys and French Chief of Staff

Muscat: Gen. Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office received in his office on Monday Jota Yamamoto, Ambassador of Japan to the Sultanate of Oman to bid him farewell at the end of his tour of duty.

The envoy expressed his appreciation for the cooperation extended to him during his tenure. He also lauded the depth of bilateral relations between both countries.

In his turn, Al Nu’amani lauded the efforts exerted by the ambassador in enhancing relations and the joint cooperation between the two countries. He also wished the ambassador success in his future endeavours.

Gen. Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office received Lyu Jian, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Sultanate of Oman.

Al Nu’amani wished the ambassador success in carrying out his duties. He also touched on the bilateral relations between the two countries.

The Chinese ambassador expressed his keenness to work on boosting bilateral relations to serve the interests of the two countries.

Meanwhile, Gen. Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office also received Gen. Thierry Burkhard, Chief of Defence Staff of the French Republic and his accompanying delegation.

During this meeting, the two sides reviewed means of enhancing bilateral cooperation in a manner that boost the security of the two countries. They also underscored the depth of historic relations between Oman and France.

The meeting was attended by the Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) and the ambassador of the French Republic to the Sultanate of Oman. -ONA
