Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has announced a partial traffic closure on Friday, February 7, 2025, during the Muscat Classic stage of the Tour of Oman 2025.
Parking will be prohibited on both sides of the roads along the race route. The race will commence at 11:50 am from Al Mouj Muscat and proceed towards Seeb Corniche Road, continuing on to Al Mabela Bridge. At the South Al Mabela traffic lights (near Al Qabayel Center), the route will turn left and then right at the Al Nuzha roundabout onto Muscat Expressway.
From there, the race will turn left onto the Rusayl-Nizwa road and continue on Rusayl-Bausher Road through Falaj Al Sham, Al Ansab, and Ghala village before reaching Al Amerat via Al Jabal Road. The route will then turn left at Al Mahaj junction to Wadi Adai, then right to Al Hamriyah, left to Qantab via Yiti Hills, and loop back to the Al Bustan roundabout, turning left to Al Hamriyah again. Finally, the route will turn right towards Yeti and left to Qantab, before concluding with a left turn at the Al Bustan roundabout to Sidab, finishing in front of the Council of Oman.
The ROP has advised motorists to plan their journeys accordingly and anticipate potential traffic disruptions during the event.
