Urgent appeal made for plasma donation in Oman

Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS) has issued an urgent appeal for individuals with blood types A+ and AB+ to donate plasma today at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar.

In a statement, the DBBS stated: "If you have donated blood over a month ago, you are now eligible to donate plasma today. There is an urgent demand for plasma from blood types A+ and AB+. Your donation can save a life!"

Plasma donation hours at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar are from 08:00 to 18:00 from Saturday to Thursday and from 08:00 to 13:00 on Friday. To book an appointment for plasma donation, please contact the DBBS via WhatsApp on 94555618.
