Performance indicators of Muscat Governorate reviewed

Muscat: A meeting was held in the Muscat Governorate on Monday to review its performance during 2024 and to discuss the strategic vision and plan for the current year 2025.

During the meeting, attended by several officials, feedback on the governorate’s performance in 2024 was discussed, focusing on identifying the indicators that recorded excellent performance, and working to strengthen them.

It highlighted observations to improve aspects that require improvement, especially those based on accurate numerical statistics, enabling the governorate to create clearer and more efficient objectives next year.

The results of the key indicators of the governorate’s performance over the past year were reviewed, including the institutional commitment, supervision, and beneficiary satisfaction indicators as well as the indicators of digital transformation, communication, interaction and other development projects implemented in the governorate and the relevance of the policies and programmes offered to meet the citizens needs.

During the meeting, an explanation of the 2025 performance evaluation was presented, highlighting the changes in the evaluation methodology and the weights of the relative indicators compared to previous years.

 Furthermore, identifying the main priorities of work during this year, stressing the roles and responsibilities between the various departments in the governorate.

This meeting came within Muscat Governorate’s efforts to promote transparency, ensure the optimal use of public resources, and raise confidence with citizens.
