ROP takes action against late-night disturbances in Muscat; vehicles seized

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has conducted a significant operation within the Muscat Governorate, leading to the seizure of more than sixty vehicles and the detention of a number of individuals. This action was prompted by incidents of dangerous driving, specifically drifting, which were taking place during the late-night hours.

The police operation, executed by the Police Command in the Governorate of Muscat in partnership with the Special Task Units of Bousher and Seeb, targeted those involved in activities that were generating excessive noise and disturbing the public peace. The ROP have confirmed that legal procedures are now being carried out against those detained.
