Muscat: JW Marriott Hotel Muscat proudly sets a new industry benchmark by becoming the first hotel in Oman to implement a fully automated water bottling plant, reinforcing its commitment to quality, efficiency, and environmental responsibility. Developed in partnership with Lucerne Waters, a leader in sustainable water solutions, this state-of-the-art initiative ensures superior water purity, operational excellence, and a significant reduction in plastic waste.

The advanced bottling system automates the entire process, from purification to packaging, guaranteeing minimal human intervention while upholding the highest standards of hygiene and efficiency. Water undergoes a seven-stage filtration process, including UV treatment, ozonation, reverse osmosis, and essential mineral enrichment, ensuring an optimal balance of safety, purity, and taste. Additionally, a rigorous six-stage bottle sterilization process, complemented by a UV tunnel, ensures every bottle meets the highest hygiene standards. Precision batch and expiry date printing further enhance traceability and quality control, giving consumers confidence in every sip.

Beyond delivering premium hydration, this initiative is a milestone in sustainability. By eliminating approximately 730,000 plastic bottles annually, JW Marriott Hotel Muscat prevents an estimated 19,700 kilograms of plastic waste and reduces CO₂ emissions by 49,250 kilograms per year.
