Muscat: Search and rescue teams successfully recovered the missing individual trapped under the rubble following the sudden gas explosion in a commercial building in the Wilayat of Quriyat. The person was transported to the hospital in critical condition for urgent medical care.
The explosion resulted in injuries to six people, with cases ranging from moderate to critical.
On Thursday, the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority announced that teams were responding to the incident, which had caused damage to a neighbouring building as well. Authorities continue to assess the situation while providing medical support to the injured.
