Osaka: HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports, and Youth, will inaugurate the Sultanate of Oman’s pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka – Japan on Sunday. The pavilion will feature over 33 events from 6 April to 13 October 2025.
Inspired by Oman’s natural and environmental diversity, the Omani pavilion, themed "Enduring Ties," reflects the adaptability of Omani society to its surroundings. Its design focuses on three core elements: Land, Water, and People, and is one of the outcomes of the Bilarab bin Haitham Award for Architectural Design.
Oman’s participation in Expo 2025 Osaka highlights six key themes: communication and interaction, tourism, investment opportunities, cultural identity, international relations, and partnerships. These themes align with the strategic goals of Oman Vision 2040.
The event presents a vital opportunity to strengthen cultural and technological exchange with global nations, showcase Oman’s civilizational and economic progress and preserve its rich cultural heritage and history.
Visitors will engage with dynamic content from various participating entities through extended reality (XR) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. The pavilion’s digital platform includes ten sections: a visual exhibition, virtual theatre, audiovisual arts gallery, "Made in Oman," "Discover Oman," Omani Tech Companies Hub, Virtual Innovation Centre, SME Exhibition, Virtual Education Opportunities Gallery, and Humanitarian Diplomacy Portal.
