Programme on principles guiding state’s domestic, foreign policy begins

Muscat: The Foreign Ministry is hosting the 9th edition of a Programme on principles guiding the state’s domestic and foreign policy.

The launch ceremony was held under the auspices of Sayyid Suleiman Al Busaidi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers. The programme continues until 24 April.

The programme, organised by the Ministry of Labour in cooperation with the Foreign Ministry, seeks to enhance regional and international cooperation and contribute to raising the Sultanate of Oman’s global standing.

The four-day programme will highlight the experiences of ambassadors, officials and decision-makers.

It deals with diplomatic immunities and privileges, seniority and precedence, the Sultanate of Oman’s foreign policy approaches, the 11th Five-Year Plan and institutional excellence.

It will also offer an introduction to international relations and the difference between politics and diplomacy.
