Muscat: Acting in cooperation with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) on Sunday organised a familiarisation meeting in Muscat for investors and real estate developers. Titled "First Real Estate Tour", the meeting was aimed to showcase real estate projects and promising investment opportunities in the governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.
Ali Mohammed Al Lawati, Chairman of the OCCI Real Estate Development Committee, said that the tour offers interested parties access to governorates in the Sultanate of Oman to enable them to get first-hand knowledge about the opportunities available in each governorate.
The tour also aims to enhance communication between investors, real estate developers and officials in government departments and service establishments, said Al Lawati. He added that the tour will open direct channels of dialogue with the local community and entrepreneurs in the real estate sector, besides identifying real estate regulations and legislation.
Al Lawati pointed out that the tour gains significance from the fact that it offers an opportunity to directly listen to the investors and developers, understand their aspirations and address their concerns.
