Muscat: The Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre (OCEC) officially opened the annual Oman Perfume Show on May 29, under the patronage of H.E Halima bint Rashid al-Zari Chairperson, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority, and in the presence of Eng. Said Al Shanfari, CEO of OCEC. This year’s edition is a celebration of the very essence of Oman: its ingredients, its craftsmanship, and the scents that define its identity.
Bringing together over 100 exhibitors, the five-day show is expected to welcome more than 30,000 visitors, matching last year’s attendance. With the GCC fragrance and perfume market valued at over $3 billion in 2024 (Mordor Intelligence), the sector continues to grow, spanning from niche artisanal labels to established international names. The Oman Perfume Show responds to this growing demand, offering a platform for discovery and connection.
Oman’s natural richness, from frankincense to Damask rose, has shaped the region’s fragrance heritage.
These scents reflect a deep connection to tradition and craftsmanship. The Oman Perfume Show highlights this journey, showcasing the country’s biodiversity and creative spirit as raw ingredients transform into luxurious perfumes.
This year’s line-up features renowned names such as Majid Oud, Junaid, Shaikh Saeed, Ahmed Al Maghrabi, Abdulsamad Al Qurashi, Safar, and Lootah. New to the event are Thailand’s Immortal Oud, and GGC brands Asateer Oud and Dkhoon Emirates marking their first appearance in Oman.
Timed ahead of Eid Al Adha, the show offers visitors the opportunity to explore and purchase a wide range of perfumes, incense, and frankincense products, making it the perfect pre-Eid destination.
Commenting on the event, Eng. Said Al Shanfari, CEO of OCEC, said: “Oman’s land speaks through scent with famous natural ingredients like frankincense or our Damask rose becoming legendary perfumes. These natural treasures have always told a wider story of place and identity. This year’s Oman Perfume Show captures this journey from land to luxury, a celebration of our heritage, creativity, and craft. We are proud to welcome over 100 exhibitors to our 2025 edition, with many regional and local brands showcasing some of their latest collections in exclusivity to our audience.”
A variety of activities will take place alongside the event, including live music performances and interviews with visitors, perfumers, and other participants. In addition, visitors will be able to enjoy seven local food and beverage outlets such as Historia Roastery & Cafe, Arte Roastery Cafe and Maani Cafe. The event also features a gift-wrapping service and a calligraphy corner, where personalised perfume bottles can be inscribed with names - ideal for gifting.
The Oman Perfume Show will be open daily from 29th May until 2nd June from 12 PM until 10 PM daily and from 4 PM until 10 PM exclusively on Friday, in Exhibition Hall 1. For more information, visit www.omanperfumeshow.om or follow @omanperfumeshow.om on Instagram.
