Woman gives birth to baby onboard Air India Express' Muscat-Mumbai flight

Muscat: A baby was born onboard an Air India Express flight from Muscat to Mumbai on Thursday, according to media reports.

The airline's crew successfully managed the rare mid-air delivery, while the ground handling team ensured the safety and well-being of both the newborn and the mother.

After landing at the Mumbai airport, mother and baby were immediately transferred to a nearby hospital for further care, accompanied by a female airline staff member to provide continued support, the airline said in a statement.
