Oman welcomes Armenia-Azerbaijan pact, seeks similaragreement for Palestine

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has welcomed the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, expressing its deep appreciation for the peaceful efforts that contributed to achieving this historic agreement, which ends decades of conflict and division.

In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry on Saturday, the Sultanate of Oman commended the pivotal role played by the United States and other parties in this context.

The foreign ministry expressed hope that this step would inspire similar achievements in resolving various issues, most notably the Palestinian issue in the Middle East, through dialogue and peaceful means, based on the principles of justice and right. This approach will undoubtedly contribute to enhancing stability and prosperity for all countries, peoples, and all regions affected by conflicts around the world.
