Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Monday issued two Royal decrees reading as follows:
Royal Decree No. (80/2025) on conducting transfers and placements in the Diplomatic Corps.
Article (1) transfers Ibrahim bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Muaini, Sultanate of Oman’s Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran, to the General Diwan of the Foreign Ministry.
Article (2) appoints Sayyid Yaarub bin Qahtan bin Nasser Al Busaidi as the Sultanate of Oman’s Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Article (3) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced on its date of issue.
Royal Decree No. (81/2025) on ratifying a protocol amending the agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Russian Federation concerning commercial, trade and technical cooperation signed on 22 April 2025 in Moscow.
Article (1) ratifies the aforementioned protocol according to the version attached to this decree.
Article (2) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced on its date of issue.
