Madrid: Bait Al Zubair and Casa Árabe in Madrid signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish cooperation in cultural exchange, exhibitions, educational programming, research, and institutional collaboration.
The MoU was signed by His Excellency Miguel Moro Aguilar, Director General of Casa Árabe, and Mohra Al Zubair, Advisor of the Bait Al Zubair Foundation.
The ceremony took place during the launch of the Oman Focus Country period at Casa Árabe, in the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Issa Al-Harthy, Undersecretary for Political Affairs at the Foreign Ministry of the Sultanate of Oman; His Excellency Diego Martínez Belío, State Secretary for Foreign and Global Affairs of Spain; and His Excellency Thamir Al-Alawi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Spain.
This agreement reflects Bait Al Zubair’s commitment to building long-term cultural partnerships and strengthening Oman’s engagement in international exchange. Through its collaboration with Casa Árabe, Bait Al Zubair will develop joint programmes and cultural exchanges aimed at strengthening cultural bonds and fostering educational, artistic, and cultural dialogue between Oman and Spain.
Casa Árabe, established in 2006, under the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, with headquarters in Madrid and Córdoba.
It serves as a strategic centre for Spain’s relations with the Arab world, providing a platform for dialogue, exhibitions, cultural programming, and research.
